yes, that's right. goodbye, dish network. I called up yesterday and cancelled my subscription to my precious cable tv. It was great for awhile, dish network. You provided me hours of entertainment, faithfully recording any cheesy reality show I wanted you to. You kept me company in my hour of need and generally amused me during my non work hours with your quality programming for a mere $41.39 per month.

but then our relationship started getting complicated. suddenly you were recording too many hours of CSI! I was watching the same episodes of What Not to Wear (stacy & clinton, bless you two)! i started feeling obligated to watch 2, even 3 hours of tv a day just to keep up with you. I began to get fat passing up exercise to spend time with you, repeatedly ignored my other social obligations and essentially became a tv hermit.

then it got really bad. I joined a gym, i made new friends, and suddenly I had no more time for you. I'm sorry, baby, i know I hurt you. I didn't mean it, please don't hate me. But yesterday I got a bill for $91.40 from AT&T and I think it's time to say goodbye.
